We supply and install 13 meeting pods for two to eight people from Bubliing, HushOffice (HushClassic and HushFree) and MusePod, reducing speech by 28.9–30.3dB tested to ISO 23351-1. How to choose a meeting pod
A meeting pod is a self-contained, acoustically sealed room that sits inside your office. It is delivered and built on site by our fitters and plugs into a standard socket for lighting and ventilation – so there is no building work, and it can be dismantled and rebuilt if you move. Here is how we help clients pick the right one.
Count the people, then add one
Look at how many people usually meet, not the maximum. One-to-ones and interviews suit a 2-person pod; most team catch-ups and client calls fit a 4-person pod. If meetings regularly run to five or more, go straight to a 6–8 person pod.
Check the floor plan and ceiling
Allow for the pod footprint plus room for the door to open and a clear walkway. Our meeting pods are 2245–2320mm tall, so check the ceiling, sprinklers and any bulkheads. We confirm all of this at the site survey.
Decide how private it needs to be
All our meeting pods reduce speech by around 29–30dB. For HR, legal or client conversations, choose the highest ratings (HushFree and Bubliing). For quick team huddles, budget pods like MusePod perform very well.
Plan for video calls
Hybrid meetings need a screen, good lighting and somewhere for cables. Several pods can be specified with screen mounts and extra power – tell us how you meet and we will recommend the right set-up.
Match the budget and lead time
MusePod is our best-value range, HushClassic sits in the middle, and HushFree and Bubliing are premium. Lead times run from around six to twelve weeks depending on the range and finishes.

A meeting pod – sometimes called a meeting booth – is a freestanding acoustic room for two to eight people that sits inside an open-plan office. It has its own walls, glazed door, ventilation, lighting and power, so you get a private meeting space without building a new meeting room.
How much space does a meeting pod need?
A 2-person meeting pod needs from about 1.9m² (HushMeet S is 2150 × 900mm) and a 4-person pod around 3m². Larger 6–8 person pods range from 2200 × 1970mm up to the 3 × 3m Bubliing R. Allow extra space for the door to open and a clear walkway – we check this on the site survey.
How much does a meeting pod cost?
It depends on size, range and finishes. MusePod is our best-value range, HushClassic (HushMeet) sits in the middle, and HushFree and Bubliing are premium. Delivery, installation, the site survey and waste removal are included in our quotes – tell us how many people and where it is going and we will price the options side by side.
Do meeting pods need planning permission or building work?
Meeting pods are freestanding furniture, so there is no building work – they plug into a standard power socket. It is still worth telling your landlord or building manager, and we check ceiling height, sprinklers, access and power positions during the site survey.
How soundproof are meeting pods?
Our meeting pods reduce speech by 28.9–30.3dB, tested to ISO 23351-1. In practice, that keeps conversations inside private from people working nearby and shuts out most office noise. The highest-rated meeting pods are the HushFree range at 30.3dB.
Can meeting pods be used for video calls?
Yes. All our meeting pods have power for laptops, and several can be specified with a screen mount and extra sockets for hybrid meetings. Tell us how your team meets and we will recommend the right set-up.
How long does it take to get a meeting pod?
Typical lead times are 6–8 weeks for HushOffice, 8–10 weeks for Bubliing and around 12 weeks for MusePod, depending on finishes. Installation is carried out by our own fitting team, and we can work out of hours if needed.
Do you have accessible meeting pods?
Yes. The HushFree Access M and L and the Bubliing L, XL and R DDA pods have a low threshold and wider door for wheelchair users. See our accessible office pods.
